A.C.E. WALKING/RAMBLING/EXERCISE CLUB
Our Walking/Rambling/Excercise Club is on a regular basis when we travel by car to a place of interest, e.g. beach, museum, gym etc. and go for a nice, leisurely stroll.
This activity is suitable for people in a wheelchair or those who are unsteady on their feet as we adjust the day to take into account the needs of our Service Users.
Our days out are an opportunity for our service users to meet up and catch-up with each other and we've had picnics on the beach, a meal in Delamere Forest and a day at the Beatle's Museum.
Places visited so far:-
- Otterspool Promenade
- New Brighton
- Crosby Beach
- The Beatles Museum
- Delamere Forest
- Liverpool Docklands
Our service users really enjoy meeting up and spending the day in a different environment.
